Saint Caden was a Welsh saint who lived in the 6th century. He was born in Llanbadarn Fawr, Wales, in c. 480. Caden was a gifted preacher and teacher. He founded several monasteries, including the monastery of Llanbadarn Fawr. Caden died in Llanbadarn Fawr, Wales, in c. 550. He is the patron saint of Wales.
