Saint Emily de Vialar was a French Roman Catholic nun and the founder of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was born in Gaillac, France, in 1757. Emily was a devout Catholic who was known for her charity and her love of the poor. She died in Marseille, France, in 1816. She is the patron saint of teachers and schools.
