Saint Genevieve was a French Roman Catholic saint who is venerated as the patron saint of Paris. She was born in Nanterre, France, in c. 422. Genevieve was a devout Catholic who was known for her charity and her love of the poor. She is credited with saving Paris from destruction by Attila the Hun in 451 AD. She died in Paris, France, in 512 AD.
