Saint Justin was a 2nd-century Greek philosopher and martyr who is considered one of the most important figures in the early history of Christianity. He was born in Flavia Neapolis, Palestine, in c. 100 AD. Justin was a gifted philosopher and theologian. He was also a gifted writer and apologist. He died in Rome, Italy, in c. 165 AD. He is the patron saint of philosophers, apologists, and students.
