Saint Peregrine Laziosi was a 15th-century Italian Franciscan friar who is known for his miraculous cure of a cancer on his leg. He was born in Forlì, Italy, in 1265. Peregrine was a gifted healer and a compassionate man. He died in Forlì, Italy, in 1345. He is the patron saint of cancer patients, those who suffer from pain, and of those who are about to die.
