St. Fiacre Biography
St. Fiacre was a Irish saint who is venerated as the patron saint of gardeners, travelers, and taxi drivers. He is believed to have lived in the 7th century and was known for his devotion to God and his desire to live a life of solitude and contemplation.
According to legend, St. Fiacre was born in County Kilkenny, Ireland and was orphaned at a young age. He was raised by his uncle, St. Brendan the Navigator, who taught him the ways of the church. After completing his studies, Fiacre decided to leave Ireland and travel to France, where he settled in a small village near Meaux.
